He made his debut in the late 1980s with pictorial zooms on the world of young people: discos, suburban clubs, rave parties, portraying the bewilderment of individuals in their private gestures. A painting where the spirit of the contemporary portraitist is joined by the eye of the great photographer who knows how to capture the moment of meaning. He is considered one of the artists of the new Italian figuration and has been represented abroad for several years.
He participated to the 3rd Premio Cairo, in 2002.
